This six-session course is designed for students who are brand new to yoga as well as students who have a regular practice, but would like to strengthen their understanding of the foundations of yoga practice. Learn how to safely align your unique body in many yoga postures including sun salutations, standing postures, twists, forward folds and back bends. Understand the mechanics of breath and how it supports the physical and mental practice. Through this workshop format, each student will have an opportunity to correct and improve their practice, gain confidence and feel empowered.
